Spring and the metals are acting like croci — poking their heads up

Silver has now poked its head above two signal lines — the downtrend line and the horizontal line.  This is definitely like the first pushing up of a crocus — but it is happening in PGM, platinum and GLD also.  In fact there is no way these in any of the three can be described as power bars, but something is going on.

Hi yo…Silver and having it both ways in the euro

Get your horse.  Silver appears to be breaking out.  We will be adding on to our position today.

As for the euro it might have appeared from our last letter on the euro that we were both long and short.  To make it clear, long term trend followers would still be short because of the Basing Point lurking up there, but we think a trading approach is in order here, and that slower traders should be sideways.  Quick triggers with very short term time frames would be long.
