Our tattared flag just got canceled so we are hedging our longs with the negative ETF SPXU. Sold TBT, QQQ, GLD AND SLV.

We were obviously in the eye of the hurricane and it may have been a bull trap.  Never a dull moment. As we were saying, they were wrong and it didn’t take long to prove they were wrong.

Fool’s gold and fool’s euro…

Jim Rogers said one time that people envied his ability to catch the top of markets.  What they didn’t know he said was the 7 or 8 tries he made to do that.  Color us Jim Rogers.  On this thin chart pattern (broken trendline, broken horizontal line by a hair) we shorted the TLT by buying TBT.    As we keep saying a fortune is going to be made short bonds, and we are going to squander a small fortune trying to catch the top.

Bonds breakout (on the downside)

A clear signal that this wave of the bonds is ended and the bet is that a downwave is to come.  We are buying TBT to short the bonds.  Meanwhile the real Bonds is likely going to jail.  Like all the governors of Illinois.  What a career path:  House of legislators, Governor’s House, Big House.

Gold, Silver, Bonds (TLT) tilt again…

Here in  a mirror image of TLT, TBT is breaking out, meaning it is time to get short bonds again.  We bought TBT today, and have been warning continuously that bonds would turn and bite investors.  Bonds however will probably not go to jail, and it was a waste of money and time to try him.  His true punishment will be to hang forever in the Limbo  or purgatory outside the gates of the Hall of Fame, and justly so.
